About
VizurArt Online Gallery was founded by Dr János Vizúr (b. 1955). Being a photographer and psychiatrist, he has been living with this “dual identity” for forty years. Psychiatry – exploring the depths of the soul – has helped him in his art to arrive from documentarist nature photography to a unique and profound way of seeing. Most of his photographs of recent years open up a world stretching beyond reality: using elements of nature, they are imbued with an ethereal, transcendental and spiritual quality; they mediate human emotions and the innermost stirrings of the soul without actually featuring people.<6p>
